Following a thorough investigation, Sumit and Anil Tiger were arrested a month after the incident. The police were able to recover Rs 6.3 lakhs, a car, a toy pistol, and an ax from the possession of the arrested individuals. However, the search for the third suspect, Sandeep, is still ongoing.
