The Denver District Attorney’s Office has finally identified the suspects involved in the motorcycle bar shooting that occurred in Denver. After almost 10 days of investigation, the authorities have named the shooters as Todd Washington and Shon McPherson.

According to CBS News, the shooting incident took place in the Park Hill neighborhood on November 5. The incident specifically occurred outside a bar owned by the Hell’s Lovers gang, located at 5514 33rd Avenue. Tragically, the shooting resulted in the deaths of two individuals, 43-year-old Michael David and 39-year-old Joshua Batts. Additionally, three other individuals sustained serious injuries.

District Attorney Beth McCann stated that the suspects engaged in this senseless shooting as a means to resolve disputes, resorting to the use of firearms. Unfortunately, their reckless actions resulted in the unintended deaths and injuries of innocent bystanders.

Both McPherson and Washington are now facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder and attempted murder. Law enforcement agencies have noticed the sign “PRIVET CLUB H.L. M.C.” displayed on the side of the bar’s door, indicating its association with the notorious motorcycle gang Hell’s Lovers. However, it remains unclear if the two shooters are members of this motorcycle club. Further details about the incident are expected to be revealed as the investigation continues.

The Denver Post reported that gunshots were heard around 3:00 a.m. on November 5, prompting witnesses to flee the area. The arrest affidavit revealed that Washington’s daughter contacted him after being kicked out of the club, alleging that one of the security guards had physically assaulted her.

Upon the suspects’ arrival at the motorcycle club, they surveyed the area before engaging in a confrontation with the security guards, ultimately leading to the shooting. In response, the staff members of Hell’s Lovers club fired back at the two shooters.

During the investigation, the police discovered an AR-15 rifle with a large capacity magazine, along with a bucket full of handguns, indicating the presence of dangerous weaponry at the scene.

As the investigation progresses, law enforcement agencies are expected to release more information about the incident. The identification of the suspects brings hope for justice to the victims and their families affected by this tragic motorcycle bar shooting.
