Armed Home Invasion in Flagler County Leads to Arrest
A 33-year-old woman from Palm Coast, Florida, is facing charges following her arrest in connection with an armed home invasion, as reported in a recent news release.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, the victim contacted deputies on Tuesday to report that an acquaintance had unlawfully entered his residence through an unlocked door. The suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim before taking approximately $50-$100 in cash from a dresser.
The suspect, identified as Kiarra Strickland, then fled the scene in her vehicle, which also had her three children inside at the time, authorities said.
A witness reported seeing Strickland park her vehicle in front of the victim’s home and retrieve a handgun from the front passenger side before entering the residence, the release stated.
Law enforcement officers located Strickland at her residence on Slumber Path in Palm Coast and took her into custody. She now faces charges of home invasion robbery with a firearm.

Sheriff Rick Staly remarked, “Not controlling your anger and then committing a crime to settle a score will get you arrested and a bed at the Green Roof Inn every time. And she’s off the list for being the mother of the year by taking her children along with her to a home invasion that could have turned deadly.”
Following the arrest, a search warrant was executed, resulting in the recovery of the stolen cash and the firearm mentioned in the incident, according to deputies.
During the course of the investigation, Strickland admitted to the crime and has since been held without bond at the Flagler County jail.
