WHITESTOWN, Ind. — A shocking revelation has come to light in Whitestown as a local man, Kyle Rogers, has been charged with multiple counts of child exploitation and child pornography possession. The charges were filed on Monday in Boone County, Indiana.

According to court documents, Rogers, a 31-year-old resident of Whitestown, has been charged with five counts of child exploitation, a Level 4 felony, and five counts of child pornography possession, a Level 5 felony.

The investigation began on October 12 when the Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children taskforce identified a suspect residing in Whitestown, later identified as Kyle Rogers, who was potentially involved in the sharing of child pornography. Through three separate sessions with the suspect’s IP address, authorities discovered that over 400 files of reported child pornography had been shared. These files included explicit photos of pre-pubescent females and an adult male engaging in inappropriate and illegal sexual acts with them.

As a result of the investigation, officials executed a search warrant at Rogers’ home on November 9. During the search, various devices, digital storage drives, and other electronics were seized as evidence.

In interviews with Rogers, investigators stated that he admitted to being sexually attracted to children and confessed to using uTorrent and other platforms to view child pornography. Rogers also acknowledged that his laptop likely contained files of child pornography.

The court documents revealed a disturbing detail about Rogers’ behavior. He reportedly confessed that he had attempted to limit his viewing of child pornography in the past but admitted that he always ended up going back to it.
