The Santa Rosa Police Department apprehended two individuals on Sunday, following their arrest on charges related to narcotics and weapons possession. The incident occurred during a routine traffic stop conducted by Santa Rosa police officers, who noticed a black Mercedes sedan committing a vehicle code violation by making an illegal turn from the Corby Avenue Extension onto Corby Avenue at approximately 3:55 a.m. on November 12.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jennifer Erickson, a 43-year-old resident of Pinole. Upon inspecting the vehicle, law enforcement officers discovered Erickson to be in possession of suspected narcotics, paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun magazine. Subsequently, a thorough search of the vehicle led to the discovery of two loaded 9 mm Glock handguns and several loaded magazines.

Accompanying Erickson was a passenger identified as Dustin Ratilainen, a 35-year-old resident of Vallejo.

Erickson and Ratilainen were taken into custody and subsequently booked into the Sonoma County Jail on charges related to possession of weapons and narcotics.
