Three Arrested in Connection with Noti Area Homicide Investigation

NOTI, Ore. – The Lane County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with a homicide investigation in the Noti area.

According to the LCSO, a search warrant was obtained on November 13 for a property in the Noti area as part of an ongoing investigation into a body that was discovered in the forest in November 2022. The detectives developed probable cause on three suspects, namely Timothy Bryce Shafer (23), Timothy Leon Shafer (54), and Anna Maria Teresa Glica (47). All three individuals were apprehended and are currently being held in custody at the Lane County Jail.

Jail records reveal that Timothy Bryce Shafer is facing a second-degree murder charge, while Timothy Leon Shafer is charged with second-degree abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and hindering prosecution. Glica, on the other hand, faces charges of second-degree abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

The investigation began in November 2022 when the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report from a hunter who had discovered a deceased individual in the woods near Wacker Point Road, northwest of Noti. The victim was later identified as Sean Lee Wilkins (37) from Swisshome. Deputies determined that Wilkins had died as a result of a homicide.
