Man Arrested for Making Threats Against Buford High School

Officials from Buford City Schools were alerted to the threat against Buford High School on Monday, prompting them to take immediate action. As a precautionary measure, all schools within the Buford City School district were placed on a soft lockdown on Tuesday. Fortunately, this lockdown has now been lifted, allowing students and staff to resume their normal activities.

The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Michael Daniel Pecoits, was apprehended by authorities on Tuesday morning. Details regarding the nature of the threat have not been disclosed by the school district officials.
