HOLLAND, Michigan — Authorities are intensifying their search for a man believed to be responsible for the fatal shooting of Cassandra Casares, a 33-year-old mother of two, in a church parking lot in Holland. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Ramses Avimael Velasco Sanabria, is currently on the run, and police are urging the public to come forward with any information that may lead to his arrest.

The tragic incident occurred on November 6 when shots were fired near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and 22nd Street at around 8 p.m. Responding officers discovered that two individuals had been injured and were rushed to the hospital. Tragically, Casares succumbed to her injuries, while another man remains hospitalized.
