Westmoreland County Coroner, Tim Carson, announced on Monday, November 13th, the identification of a deceased female discovered last week in a pond in New Stanton. The body has been identified as that of Kele Diane Townsend, a 34-year-old resident of Jeannette.

Providing details regarding the identification process, the coroner’s office stated that medical records, physical stature, teeth, tattoos, and jewelry were instrumental in confirming the positive ID. After thoroughly reviewing all available information, investigators found no inconsistencies with the identification confirmation.

At the time of her discovery, Townsend was found wearing black Aeropostale leggings and a black shirt with the phrases “XL,” “XEROLIMITS,” and “BECAUSE LARGE ISN’T BIG ENOUGH” printed on it.

Jewelry items, including a belly button post and three necklaces, were also found on the deceased female.
