Kathryn Dennis has found herself in hot water once again, as she has been labeled a “suspect” in an alleged hit-and-run incident near an elementary school in South Carolina. The former Southern Charm star, who is no longer part of the Bravo show’s main cast, was arrested in connection with the incident.

The incident, which took place on October 20 around 7:30 a.m., involved a white female driver with dirty blonde hair who was recklessly driving a 2022 Ford Bronco near Whitesville Elementary School in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The driver struck a deputy sheriff who was working as a crossing guard for the school at the time.

The injured deputy described the incident in a police report, stating, “As I began to ask the traffic leaving the school to take the right and the traffic coming from Highway 52 to take the left, I noticed that the vehicle traveling from South Live Oak Drive was not slowing down. I blew on my whistle and stepped to the left to get out of the vehicle’s way. As I stepped to the left, the vehicle drove past me, striking me on the right side. The stop sign broke in my hand and landed in the roadway… The driver did not slow down or change driving pattern prior to or after striking me.”

As a result of the incident, the deputy suffered a broken hand. Following the collision, the deputy attempted to get the license plate number of the vehicle and managed to obtain partial information, including the SC tag number “YVT,” a description of the vehicle as a grey SUV, and the driver being a white female with dirty blonde hair.

Authorities later traced the vehicle back to Kathryn Dennis, and the police report identified her as the “suspect” in the hit-and-run incident. The report also indicated that she was arrested near the scene of the offense. However, it is important to note that the South Carolina Highway Patrol, which is currently investigating the incident, has not yet filed any charges against her. Additionally, no drugs or alcohol were found in relation to the incident.

Kathryn Dennis, who has faced her fair share of controversies in the past, including legal battles and personal struggles, is no stranger to the spotlight. Despite her departure from the main cast of Southern Charm, her former co-stars have expressed their desire to see her return to the show. As the investigation into the hit-and-run incident continues, the future remains uncertain for Kathryn Dennis and her involvement in the reality television world.
