The incident took place when Surya and his friends were engrossed in a photography session near a popular dhaba adorned with beautiful wall art. As they indulged in capturing captivating moments, another group approached them and requested to have their photos taken as well. Initially hesitant, Surya and his friends eventually agreed to fulfill the request of the group.

However, things quickly took a turn for the worse when the other group insisted on receiving the photos immediately via WhatsApp. Surya and his friends explained that transferring the photos from their camera to a system was necessary before sharing them. Despite their explanation, the group persisted in their demand, growing increasingly impatient.

In a horrifying turn of events, one of the members from the other group, later identified as Dileep, brandished a sharp weapon and viciously stabbed Surya in the chest. The gravity of the situation became apparent as Surya was swiftly rushed to a nearby hospital in an attempt to save his life. Tragically, Surya succumbed to his injuries, leaving his friends and loved ones devastated.

Meanwhile, the group responsible for the attack fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of shock and disbelief. The police have since registered a case in connection with the murder and have identified two of the accused individuals. Their investigation is ongoing, with an intense search for the remaining members of the group underway.

Mallikarjun Baldani, the Superintendent of Police for Bengaluru Rural district, expressed his thoughts on the incident, stating, “A case of murder has been registered in connection with the incident. Statements of the victim’s friends have also been recorded. We have identified two of the five accused involved in the incident and efforts are being made to identify the rest and arrest them.”
