JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A shocking incident unfolded last Thursday when the lifeless bodies of two men were discovered submerged in the waters beneath the George Crady Bridge, a prominent structure that spans Nassau Sound. The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission has now revealed the identities of the deceased individuals.

The unfortunate victims were stumbled upon by a pair of compassionate Good Samaritans at approximately 11 a.m. on that fateful day. Realizing the gravity of the situation, these quick-thinking individuals promptly pulled the lifeless bodies out of the water and valiantly attempted to revive them through the administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission officers, in conjunction with Nassau County Fire Rescue, promptly responded to the distress call upon being alerted. With a sense of urgency, NCFR EMTs rushed to the scene, only to deliver the heart-wrenching news that both men had tragically succumbed to their fate.

The first victim has been identified as Fennis F. Mills, a gentleman who had recently celebrated his 77th birthday less than a fortnight prior to this unfortunate incident. Meanwhile, the second individual has been identified as Rodney J. Hall, aged 65. Both men hailed from the vibrant city of Jacksonville, which is now shrouded in grief and disbelief.
