Overview

In a heart-wrenching incident, three young individuals lost their lives while another sustained injuries in a fatal road accident. The unfortunate incident took place in Lachipalem village, under the jurisdiction of Coringa police station in Kakinada district. The victims were returning home on a two-wheeler when they collided with a brick-laden tractor parked on the national highway on Monday.

The Tragic Incident

The four youths, aged 24, were on their way back to their native place in Tallarevu mandal after completing some painting work in Yanam. Regrettably, their journey ended in tragedy when their two-wheeler crashed into the stationary tractor. The impact of the collision caused three of them, identified as P. Prasad, Oleti Srinu, and V. Raju, to lose their lives instantly. The fourth youth, critically injured in the accident, was immediately rushed to Kakinada Government General Hospital (GGH-Kakinada) for urgent medical attention. Fortunately, his condition is currently reported as stable.

Investigation and Post-Mortem

Following the incident, Coringa Sub-Inspector Ravikumar confirmed that a case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the exact sequence of events leading to the tragic accident. The bodies of the deceased have been transferred to GGH-Kakinada for post-mortem examinations, which will provide crucial insights into the cause of death and help establish any contributing factors.
