The Tunica County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the incident as a multiple homicide. The shooting and subsequent crash occurred on Friday at approximately 9:30 p.m. along Casino Center Drive. The victims have been identified as Tednequa Tenice Moore, 25, Deshun Montarrio Isabell, 24, and Steven Dewayne Burts, 23.

Authorities have not yet released the names of any suspects involved in the case. However, a relative of one of the victims disclosed that there was an existing grievance against one of the individuals in the car.

Teddy Moore, the father of one of the victims, spoke to Tennessee TV station WHBQ and revealed that the trio had gone to a sandwich shop for dinner before heading back to an undisclosed casino hotel. Moore expressed his disbelief and questioned the motive behind the attack, emphasizing that innocent lives were lost due to the assailants’ reckless actions.

The father further disclosed that he had heard rumors about his daughter’s boyfriend being involved in a dispute with someone. He expressed concern for her safety and had warned her about the potential danger. Despite his advice, she chose to ignore the warning, ultimately leading to this tragic outcome.
