Imposing Collective Punishment

Since October 7, the West Bank has been completely sealed off from the rest of the occupied territories, leading to severe repercussions for Palestinians. The Israeli blockade has resulted in the halt of both people and goods movement, greatly impacting the daily lives of Palestinians. As a result, numerous businesses have been forced to shut down, exacerbating the already dire economic situation in the region. Additionally, Israel has implemented checkpoints near wholesale markets, allegedly to ensure the safety of Israeli settlers residing in the vicinity.

Alarming Death Toll

The ongoing Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank have caused immense loss of life and injuries. According to Palestinian authorities, at least 185 Palestinians have lost their lives, with over 2,500 individuals sustaining injuries at the hands of Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank in just over a month.
