Upon receiving the distress call, Additional Police Commissioner Vikram Singh Mann and Joint CP Srinivas rushed to the scene to assess the situation. It was reported that the cause of death for all nine victims was asphyxiation due to the rapid spread of smoke throughout the building. The fire is believed to have originated from the cellar where highly inflammable chemicals were stored.

Local residents noticed the fire when it spread to a car parked nearby and immediately alerted the fire officials. Seven fire tenders swiftly arrived at the scene and managed to bring the situation under control after a few hours of intense firefighting efforts.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his deepest condolences to the grieving families and instructed officials to take immediate action against those responsible for the incident. However, the incident has also raised concerns about the lack of preventive measures and safety protocols in place. Telangana Congress president Revanth Reddy expressed shock and frustration over the recurring fire accidents in Hyderabad, suggesting that the government has failed to address this issue effectively. Reddy questioned why cars were being repaired in a residential apartment cellar and why diesel and chemical drums were present in a residential area.

Calling for a thorough investigation, Reddy extended his deepest condolences to the deceased and urged the government to provide comprehensive support to the affected families. The incident has sparked a debate on the need for stricter regulations and enforcement to prevent such tragedies in the future.

The police have registered a case regarding the fire incident under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including provisions related to causing death by negligence and the possession of explosives.

This unfortunate incident serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of fire safety measures and the need for vigilant enforcement of regulations. The authorities must conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the fire and take appropriate action to ensure the safety of residents in the future.
