Meanwhile, Tellez-Zelaya was traveling eastbound on Foothill and made a left turn into the designated lane. Tragically, Tellez-Zelaya executed a U-turn directly in front of the motorcyclist, resulting in a devastating collision.
The Rialto Police Department conducted a thorough investigation into the incident, utilizing witness accounts and physical evidence gathered from the scene to support their findings. The authorities have determined that impairment was not a contributing factor in the collision.
However, during the course of their investigation, it was discovered that Tellez-Zelaya was driving without a valid license. A citation had been issued to Tellez-Zelaya just a week prior for the same offense, highlighting a disregard for road safety regulations.
In light of the evidence gathered, Tellez-Zelaya has been arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter. He has since been booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with a bail amount set at £500,000.
