Islamabad Capital Police Apprehends Bike Lifter Gang Member and Recovers Stolen Motorbikes

The Sumbal police team of Islamabad Capital Police has successfully apprehended a wanted member of a notorious bike lifter gang. The gang has been involved in a series of bike lifting incidents, causing significant distress to the citizens. As a result of the operation, the police also managed to recover two stolen motorbikes from the possession of the accused.

The arrest and recovery were made possible due to the special directions issued by Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan. Determined to protect the lives and property of the citizens, the ICCPO ordered a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike thefts. The Islamabad Capital Police utilized their technical and human resources to track down the wanted member of the bike lifter gang.

The arrested individual has been identified as Raza Ullah. He was already facing multiple cases related to bike theft, and further investigation into his activities is currently underway. During the preliminary interrogation, Raza Ullah confessed to his involvement in numerous bike lifting incidents, shedding light on the extent of the gang’s operations.

ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan commended the efforts of the police team and emphasized the need for a continuous and effective crackdown against individuals involved in car and bike thefts. He directed all senior officials to review and monitor the performance of the police officials in this regard regularly.
