Wolfe, 24, from Mankato, Minnesota.

At present, it remains unclear which branch of the military the aircraft belonged to. However, the Air Force has deployed additional squadrons to the region, and the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, equipped with a variety of aircraft, has been operating in the eastern Mediterranean.

In response to this tragedy, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III expressed his condolences and highlighted the sacrifice made by these brave men and women.
