Texas DPS Investigating Fatal Crash in Sleepy Hollow

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers are currently conducting an investigation into a tragic accident that took place near 10100 Sleepy Hollow on Saturday, November 11, 2023. The incident, which resulted in a fatality, occurred around 6:12 p.m.

According to the preliminary crash investigation, a 2008 Dodge Avenger was traveling eastbound, followed by two other vehicles, and a 2019 Yamaha motorcycle. Eyewitnesses reported that as the Dodge began to make a left turn into a private drive, the motorcycle attempted to overtake the vehicles and collided with the Dodge on its left side.

The driver of the Dodge, identified as 38-year-old Joshua Wagnon from Willis, fortunately escaped the collision without sustaining any injuries. In contrast, the driver of the motorcycle, identified as 29-year-old Roman Sievers from Conroe, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack.

As of now, this remains an ongoing investigation, and the Texas DPS Troopers have not released any further details regarding the case. They have advised that no additional inquiries can be made until more information becomes available.
