Manhunt underway for suspect after grandmother found dead with multiple sharp object injuries in Indiana home
Authorities are currently on the hunt for a man believed to be responsible for the brutal murder of his grandmother in her home in Markle, Indiana. The victim, 72-year-old Bernice Eubanks, was discovered lifeless on November 12th, with evidence of multiple sharp object injuries, as revealed by the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office.

According to deputies, an investigation into the incident determined that Eubanks had been deceased for a significant period of time prior to her discovery. Law enforcement officials have identified her grandson, 37-year-old Anthony Castleman, as the primary suspect in the case.
The Huntington County Sheriff’s Office has initiated the process of obtaining an arrest warrant for Castleman on charges of murder. Early findings from the investigation indicated that he had fled Huntington County and was actively attempting to leave the state, leading authorities to intensify their search efforts.
Local and state law enforcement agencies have been tirelessly working around the clock to apprehend Castleman, who remains at large. However, when approached for comment, a representative from the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office declined to provide further details regarding the ongoing investigation.
Markle, where the incident occurred, is a suburban area situated near Fort Wayne, Indiana.
