37-Year-Old Dangelo Xavier Valadez Found Dead and Woman Injured in Harker Heights Incident

Accident – Death – Obituary News : HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — Harker Heights authorities have apprehended a suspect in relation to a disturbing incident that resulted in the death of a man and multiple injuries to a woman. The police were alerted to the situation after receiving a distress call regarding a female victim in the 300 block of West Veterans Memorial Boulevard on Sunday afternoon at approximately 1:45 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the injured woman with wounds to her head and arm. She informed the authorities that there was another victim, a male, along with a suspected male perpetrator in an abandoned building located on the same street, specifically in the 500 block.

The Harker Heights Police Department promptly proceeded to the mentioned location and unfortunately found the second victim unresponsive, suffering from severe head injuries. Meanwhile, the alleged suspect was located on Jamie Road in the 200 block and was apprehended without any resistance.

Tragically, the male victim, identified as 37-year-old Dangelo Xavier Valadez from Harker Heights, was pronounced dead at the scene. In light of this, an autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death. The female victim, on the other hand, was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital where she received medical treatment for her injuries. Thankfully, she has since been released from the hospital.

The suspect remains in police custody pending the filing of felony charges against him. Authorities have stated that this incident appears to be isolated, assuring the community that there is no ongoing threat to their safety.
