27-year-old Ramses Avimael Velasco Sanabria Identified as Suspect in Deadly Holland Shooting

Accident – Death – Obituary News : HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of a fatal shooting that occurred in Holland on November 6th and are now seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.

The suspect has been identified as Ramses Avimael Velasco Sanabria, a 27-year-old individual believed to reside in West Olive. However, his current whereabouts remain unknown, prompting the Holland Department of Public Safety to issue a warrant for his arrest. To aid in his capture, a reward of $2,500 is being offered for any information that leads to his apprehension.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who has sighted Sanabria or possesses knowledge about his location to immediately contact 911. They are also advising the public against approaching the suspect, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

The lethal incident unfolded shortly after 8 p.m. on November 6th in the parking lot of Moran Park Church, situated at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and 22nd Street. According to detectives, two vehicles pulled up and parked adjacent to each other in the church’s parking lot. Within a brief span of time, gunshots rang out, shocking the peaceful community.

In the aftermath of the shooting, one of the vehicles quickly sped away with two wounded individuals on board. Tragically, Cassandra Casares, a 33-year-old resident of Holland, succumbed to her injuries after being transported to the hospital. The second victim, a 34-year-old man who remains unidentified at this time, sustained gunshot wounds but survived and received medical treatment.
