Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of Devi Singh, Maankhor Kanwar, Rajaram, and Jitendra in Rajasthan

Accident – Death – Obituary News : KOTA: A tragic road accident in Rajasthan’s Bundi district claimed the lives of four individuals from a family hailing from Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred on the intervening nights of Saturday and Sunday when the SUV they were travelling in collided with a truck on NH-52 near Hindoli town.

The victims have been identified as Devi Singh (50), his wife Maankhor Kanwar (45), his brother Rajaram (40), and his nephew Jitendra (20), who was Rajaram’s son. All of them were residents of Gangukhedi village in Malwa, Agar district, Madhya Pradesh.

According to Manoj Sikarwal, circle inspector at Hindoli police station, it appears that the SUV was traveling at a high speed and the truck ahead of it suddenly applied the brakes. As a result, the SUV rammed into the rear of the truck, leading to the tragic accident.

Tragically, three members of the family were killed on the spot, while the woman succumbed to her injuries during treatment at the hospital on Sunday morning. The family was on their way from their native village to Pushkar in Ajmer for a religious pilgrimage.

The truck driver fled the scene, abandoning his vehicle. However, the police have seized the truck and are making efforts to apprehend the driver.

The bodies of the four deceased individuals have been placed in the mortuary for postmortem, which will be conducted later in the day once their family members arrive.
