Police Record Testimonies of Family Members in Shahzeb Murder Case

Police – Accident – Death – Obituary News : KARACHI: Police authorities have made significant progress in the investigation of the murder case involving Shahzeb, an online cab driver, as they recorded testimonies from the family members who had ridden in his car from Hyderabad to Karachi. The Karachi police investigators have been diligently collecting evidence and statements to shed light on the circumstances surrounding Shahzeb’s tragic death.

The family, consisting of two women and three children, regularly traveled between Hyderabad and Karachi. On this particular occasion, due to the unavailability of their usual driver, they decided to hire an online cab to reach Karachi. The family stated that they did not notice any unusual or confrontational behavior from Shahzeb during the journey. Upon reaching Korangi Crossing, Shahzeb dropped off the family and booked another ride.

The investigation officials revealed that they have found evidence of Shahzeb’s second ride, but his mobile phone and other valuables have not been recovered from the crime scene. In an effort to gather more information, the police have started collecting geo-fencing records of the areas adjacent to the crime scene. They are also in contact with the car tracking company to obtain further details about Shahzeb’s movements. It has been discovered that Shahzeb made a stop at a hotel while traveling to Karachi.

The investigators have questioned the hotel staff regarding the individuals who were present in Shahzeb’s vehicle. Additionally, a keychain from the hotel was recovered from the crime scene. However, the police have been unable to reach the family that was dropped off by Shahzeb in Korangi.

The incident unfolded when Shahzeb, a young online taxi driver, was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in the Safoora Town area of Karachi. His bullet-ridden body was discovered in the vicinity of Safoora Chowk. Initial investigations suggest that Shahzeb was traveling from Hyderabad to Karachi when the tragic incident occurred. It has been reported that his father had turned off the car’s tracker after finding his mobile phone switched off.
