One Dead, Two Injured in Firing Incident in Bihar’s Rupaspur

In a tragic turn of events, one person lost their life while two others sustained injuries in a heated firing incident that took place in Dhanot village, located in Bihar’s Rupaspur, Danapur. The incident occurred as a mutual dispute escalated beyond control.

The accused individuals involved in the firing have been identified as Parveen Kumar and Rohit Kumar, according to the statement made by SI Ramvijay Kumar. The deceased victim has been identified as Shashi Bhushan Singh, as confirmed by Kumar.

SI Ramvijay Kumar provided details of the incident, stating that it took place around 10:45 AM. He explained, “A dispute arose between two neighboring families while they were engaged in house cleaning using water. Unfortunately, the water from the victim’s house flowed into the accused person’s house, leading to a heated argument. Consequently, the accused resorted to firing, resulting in the unfortunate loss of life.”

The firing incident triggered anger among the villagers, leading them to retaliate by setting fire to the accused’s house. The villagers, consumed by rage, didn’t stop there. Over a dozen vehicles, including both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, were also set ablaze in retaliation.

Local authorities were immediately informed about the firing incident, prompting the police to swiftly reach the scene. However, at the time of their arrival, the accused individuals had managed to evade capture, and a manhunt is currently underway to apprehend them.

SI Ramvijay Kumar confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to locate and arrest the absconding individuals responsible for the fatal firing incident.

This unfortunate incident serves as a grim reminder of the consequences that can arise from a small dispute escalating into a violent confrontation. The loss of a life and the injuries sustained by others highlight the need for peaceful resolution and dialogue in resolving conflicts.
