Accident – Death – Obituary News : Four individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident on Friday night when an oil tanker traveling from Jaipur collided with a car and a pickup van near Sidhrawali village on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. The incident occurred around 11.50 pm near Triveni Hotel, as the speeding tanker crashed through the road divider and veered into the opposite lane, striking the vehicles.
The CNG-powered car involved in the collision immediately burst into flames, according to the police. The occupants of the car were on their way to Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. Authorities revealed that the three young men in the vehicle were employed by a private company in Manesar. Following a complaint lodged by a friend of the deceased, the tanker driver was charged under Sections 279 (rash driving) and 304-A (causing death by negligence) of the IPC at Bilaspur police station.
A police officer stated, “The police team arrived to find the car completely burnt, with the three occupants tragically charred to death. The driver of the pickup van also succumbed to the accident.” The victims were identified as Jitender from Samalkha in Panipat, Lokesh Saini from Anaj Mandi in Jind, and Pawan Dubey from Bihar. The pickup van driver was identified as Trilok Sharma from Chilhar village near Pataudi in Gurugram. To extinguish the fire, the Bilaspur police utilized a fire tender.
