45-year-old Woman Dies from Injuries Sustained in Kalamassery Blasts

A tragic incident unfolded in Kalamassery as a 45-year-old woman, identified as Sally, succumbed to her injuries on Saturday evening. Sally had been admitted to a private hospital after suffering severe burn injuries in the devastating Kalamassery triple blasts.

The blast, which occurred on October 30, also claimed the life of Sally’s 12-year-old daughter, Libina, who tragically passed away while receiving treatment at the Kalamassery hospital. The entire community mourned the loss of this young life, as the repercussions of the incident continue to be felt.

Sally’s two sons were also among the victims, sustaining injuries during the blasts. They are currently receiving medical attention, with one of them being in critical condition at a private hospital. As the family grapples with the aftermath of this horrific event, their loved ones and the community at large are keeping them in their thoughts and prayers.

Presently, a total of 17 individuals are undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in the Kalamassery blasts. Eight of these patients require intensive care and are being closely monitored in the ICU of a hospital. Unfortunately, one person remains in critical condition, adding to the gravity of this tragic incident.
