3 Brothers and 2 Accomplices Booked for Abducting Minor Girl, Victim Rescued

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Ludhiana: The Tibba police have taken legal action against three brothers and their two accomplices for the abduction of a minor girl. The incident, which took place in the Karamsar Colony area, has left the community in shock.

According to officials, the police were able to locate the girl and successfully rescue her from a house in Machhiwara. However, the accused managed to evade capture and escape from the scene.

The complaint was filed by Parvej Moria, the cousin of the victim. A First Information Report (FIR) was registered under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including wrongful restraint, abduction, snatching, criminal intimidation, and act done by several persons in furtherance of common intention.

Moria recounted the horrifying incident, stating that he had picked up his cousin from her school and was taking her home on his scooter when they were ambushed by a group of youngsters on bikes and a scooter. The assailants attacked Moria and forcibly took the girl on one of the bikes. They also snatched Moria’s mobile phone, wallet containing Rs 5,000, and the key to his scooter.

Desperate for help, Moria sought assistance from a passerby to inform his family about the incident and later lodged a formal complaint with the police. The Tibba Station House Officer (SHO), Lovedeep Singh, revealed that the accused had taken the girl to a house in the Machhiwara area.

In a fortunate turn of events, the girl managed to gain access to a mobile phone and contacted her parents, revealing her location. The police swiftly responded to the call, rescuing the girl. However, the accused managed to flee before they could be apprehended.

According to the SHO, the motive behind the abduction appears to be a case of one-sided affection. However, the true nature of the relationship can only be determined once the accused, particularly the prime suspect Ravi, is arrested. The other two brothers, Sunny and Abhishek, who reside in Ram Nagar, along with two unidentified accomplices, are also being pursued by the authorities.

This incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the need for increased security measures and vigilance. The police are conducting raids and investigations to track down and apprehend the accused individuals.

In recent news, a police sub-inspector in Rajasthan was arrested for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl. Following his arrest, the accused was terminated from his job by the police department.
