In a tragic incident that occurred on Thursday, November 9, two individuals lost their lives while another was left in critical condition following a devastating crash. The incident took place around 8:45 p.m. on northbound I-475 near Broadway Boulevard in the city of Flint, Michigan.

According to the Flint Police Department, preliminary investigations suggest that the collision was likely caused by a combination of excessive speed, alcohol consumption, and/or drug influence. The collision involved a white Jeep Cherokee, which was travelling northbound on I-475, and a black Buick Regal, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
Regrettably, two fatalities were reported at the crash site. The deceased individuals have been identified as 19-year-old Marshawn Rebo Turnipseed and 39-year-old Cassie Lyn Garcia. Their lives were tragically cut short due to the impact of the collision.
Additionally, a third individual, identified as 20-year-old Niaisa Anijah Sanders, sustained critical injuries in the crash. She was swiftly transported to Hurley Medical Center, where medical professionals are working diligently to provide the necessary care and treatment.
