Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two College Students in Tamil Nadu

These students, originally from Andhra Pradesh, were pursuing their education in a college located in Tiruvallur. It was discovered that without informing their parents, the two youngsters had embarked on a trip to Puducherry on Wednesday.

According to the preliminary investigation conducted by the Chengalpattu Railway Police, the two students had consumed alcohol in Puducherry and were returning to Tiruvallur by train on the same night. Tragically, the accident occurred near Acharapakkam late on Wednesday when the duo accidentally slipped and fell off the train, leading to them being fatally crushed under its wheels. The darkness of the night hindered the immediate discovery of their bodies, which were only found on Thursday morning.

The Chengalpattu Railway Police were promptly informed about the incident and immediately rushed to the spot to recover the bodies. The bodies have been sent to a government hospital for postmortem examination. It has been confirmed that both victims were in an inebriated state at the time of the accident.
