Three individuals are currently facing multiple charges following their involvement in a terrifying carjacking incident that occurred in Richmond Hill last week. The incident unfolded at approximately 1 a.m. on November 4, near the intersection of Weldrick Road East and Strathearn Avenue, just south of Major Mackenzie Drive.

According to authorities, the victim was accosted by two suspects as he was entering the garage of his residence. Armed with a knife, the suspects threatened the victim and demanded both his mobile phone and the keys to his BMW X6.

After obtaining the victim’s belongings, the suspects swiftly fled the scene in the stolen BMW, driving away at a dangerously high speed. Notably, a third accomplice was present at the location, waiting in a separate vehicle.

The following day, law enforcement officials spotted the suspects in the stolen BMW X6, accompanied by a Tesla. Promptly, officers apprehended the driver of the Tesla and seized a significant amount of cash, along with multiple sets of car keys, including the key fob for the stolen BMW.

In a rather alarming turn of events during the arrest of the remaining suspects, one of them purposely drove their vehicle in the direction of an investigator. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained during this incident, emphasized the police in a news release issued on Friday.

Furthermore, upon conducting a search, investigators discovered that one of the suspects was in possession of narcotics and a replica firearm.

The three individuals involved in this carjacking case have been identified as Wahidullah Wahidullah, 22 years old, Nazir Hakimi, 30 years old, and Muhamma Rahman, 18 years old. They are now facing multiple charges, including robbery with an offensive weapon, disguise with intent, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

It is important to note that the charges brought against the suspects have not yet been proven in a court of law.
