Terrencio Bell identified as suspect in Cook Out restaurant robbery

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police in Memphis have made an arrest in connection with a recent armed robbery at a Cook Out restaurant in Whitehaven. The robbery occurred on September 27, when three masked individuals entered the restaurant, brandishing guns and demanding cash from the employees.

However, the police were able to identify one of the suspects thanks to a traffic stop that occurred an hour before the robbery. Officers who had pulled over a gold four-door Mercedes Benz noticed that the occupants matched the description of the robbers. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Terrencio Bell, 24, was later linked to the Cook Out robbery.

The victims of the robbery also identified Bell as one of the individuals who had participated in the crime. According to the police, Bell and his accomplices followed an employee through a side door of the restaurant. Once inside, they forced all the workers to lie down and demanded money from the safe and registers. The robbers managed to escape with approximately $4,500 in cash.

It is still unclear why Bell was pulled over during the traffic stop. He has been charged with aggravated robbery and is scheduled to appear before a judge on Friday.
