Suspect at Large Following Shooting Incident in Lenoir City
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a shooting incident took place in Lenoir City, Tennessee, and the suspect is currently evading law enforcement. Chief Deputy Zac Frye, in an interview with WVLT News, stated that the suspect, identified as James Burch, is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The incident occurred during the early hours of Friday morning, according to Frye. Fortunately, the victim is in stable condition and receiving medical treatment at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The shooting incident transpired on Martel Road in the 22000 block.
Shortly after the incident, Burch fled the scene in a white van, as informed by Frye. Law enforcement officers are currently conducting an intensive search operation in order to apprehend the suspect.
