Accident – Death – Obituary News : Incidents of road rage are unfortunately quite common on the streets, with fights between individuals over misunderstandings. However, a recent incident in Bengaluru has shocked many due to its bizarre nature. A video has gone viral on social media showing a man breaking the rearview mirror of a moving car for no apparent reason. This incident raises concerns about the lack of common sense and fearlessness displayed by some miscreants when it comes to breaking traffic laws.

The video was uploaded by a user with the Twitter handle @3rdEyeDude. According to the uploader, the incident took place on Kanakapura Road in Bengaluru. The video shows a red-colored Honda Amaze driving cautiously when suddenly a Honda Activa carrying three men appears. One of the pillion riders on the Activa is seen breaking the co-driver side rearview mirror of the Amaze before quickly fleeing the scene.

Fortunately, the entire incident was captured on a dashcam of another vehicle that was behind the Amaze in traffic. The Amaze driver pulled over to the side of the road to inspect the damage. The dashcam footage not only recorded the incident but also captured the registration number of the Honda Activa involved, providing valuable evidence.

Taking advantage of this evidence, the Amaze owner filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the police. The footage was also shared on Twitter, tagging the Bengaluru City Traffic Police and the KS Layout traffic police accounts. The police investigation revealed that the scooter owner had already accumulated online fines amounting to Rs 19,000. These fines were in the name of Yellamma, the owner of the scooter.

Based on the dashcam footage, the KS Layout traffic police were able to trace the Honda Activa and identify Yellamma from Jayanagar as the scooter owner. They also identified the person who broke the rearview mirror as Rohit, Yellamma’s 21-year-old son. The traffic police confirmed that Rohit was drunk at the time of the incident. It was also discovered that the scooter had a total of 39 pending traffic rule violations, with fines amounting to Rs 19,500.

The case has been transferred to the law and order police, and efforts are underway to apprehend the rider and the second pillion rider who are still on the run.
