Arrests made in murder case of Rahul Vasava in Sansrod village

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Vadodara: In a shocking incident, the Karjan police of Vadodara district arrested three individuals on Thursday for their alleged involvement in the murder of a 24-year-old man in Sansrod village. The victim, identified as Rahul Vasava, was reportedly having an affair with the wife of the main accused, Arvind Vasava.

The lifeless body of Rahul was discovered on Tuesday in a secluded area in Sansrod. According to the police investigation, Rahul had left his home in Bharuch on October 30, riding his motorbike to go to work. However, Arvind, along with his accomplices Shailesh Vasava and Mitesh Vasava, kidnapped Rahul in an auto-rickshaw. They then proceeded to strangle him and poured a substance resembling acid into his mouth, resulting in his untimely demise.

“We examined CCTV footage from the vicinity where the body was found and were able to positively identify Rahul. Our investigation revealed that Rahul had been involved in an extramarital affair with Arvind’s wife for the past few months,” stated A.K. Bharwad, the police inspector of Karjan.

Arvind, who works at a private firm, discovered the affair and decided to take matters into his own hands by plotting Rahul’s murder. The motive behind the crime was rooted in the jealousy and anger Arvind felt towards Rahul for his involvement with his wife.

This incident serves as a grim reminder of the consequences that can unfold when relationships go awry. The police have taken swift action in apprehending the culprits, ensuring that justice will be served for the tragic loss of Rahul’s life.

In recent times, cases of relationship-related crimes have been making headlines across India. Just recently, a 26-year-old man in Ahmedabad was arrested for strangling and stabbing his wife to death, driven by suspicions of infidelity. The woman’s body was discovered with multiple injuries on November 1. The accused, an autorickshaw driver, confessed to planning the murder with a friend who drove the rickshaw during the crime. Both individuals have been charged with murder.

Another shocking incident took place in Chhota Udepur, where a man killed his wife in Morbi. The husband, identified as Remla, was brought to the police station by his own son, along with his wife’s lifeless body. The family had been working as farm laborers in Morbi before the murder took place. Remla has since been arrested by the Morbi police.

In a separate news item, the Delhi High Court has temporarily stayed a lower court summons issued to Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The summons were issued based on a complaint by a BJP leader, alleging violations of the Representation of the People (RP) Act. Sunita was accused of being registered as a voter in both Sahibabad assembly constituency in UP and Chandni Chowk assembly constituency in Delhi, a violation of the RP Act. The court has issued a notice to the state and the complainant, suspending the lower court’s order. The case will be further heard in February next year.
