According to the police, Deepak, a resident of Mehrauli, slit Kumar’s throat with a sharp object after the two engaged in a heated argument over Kumar’s disrespectful comment about Deepak’s wife. Both individuals were under the influence of alcohol at the time.

Kumar’s father filed a missing complaint on Tuesday when his son failed to return home the previous night. The police subsequently discovered Kumar’s body at Deepak’s house, although the accused had already fled.

Vivek Yadav, DCP (rural), stated, “The complainant informed us that Satendra had gone to Deepak’s house on Monday evening for a party and did not return home. When the deceased’s family visited Deepak’s house in search of Kumar, they were informed that he had left after the party.” Two police teams were formed, and Deepak was apprehended within three hours in the Wave City area.

During interrogation, Deepak, who was employed by a private company, confessed that he and Kumar were drinking at his house when his wife arrived with snacks. “The deceased made an objectionable comment about his wife, which led to a heated argument between the two, ultimately causing the accused to kill the victim,” Yadav revealed.
