Gangster ‘Dangerous’ Charged with Aggravated Murder in Tacoma Bar Shooting Over Hairline

Accident – Death – Obituary News : An argument at The Alleycat Patio and Lounge in Tacoma turned deadly, leaving two people dead and three others injured. According to documents, the fight began when a man identified as ‘L.C’ tried to insert himself into conversations with a group of women he didn’t know. The suspect, Alante Peterson, intervened and allegedly told ‘L.C’ to leave the women alone. The argument escalated over someone’s hairline, as shown in a cell phone video presented to the police.

Witnesses quoted in court documents described the terrifying moments that followed. Peterson, who goes by the street name ‘Dangerous,’ started randomly shooting at people, turning in a circle while firing the gun. One victim died at the scene, while another passed away at the hospital. The deceased victims have been identified as Monic Lashaye Swan and James Reha, while the names of the injured victims have not been released by the Tacoma Police Department.

The shooting sent shockwaves through the bar, with people dropping to the floor and others running for safety. On the same day, Peterson turned himself in at police headquarters with his lawyer present. In court, he pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated murder and first-degree murder. The courtroom was filled with loved ones of the victims, holding up photos and shedding tears.

Andreas Bonapart, one of Monic Lashaye Swan’s uncles, spoke about the incident, saying that Swan tried to stop the argument before the shooting started. He described her as brave and someone who wanted to protect everyone. James Reha’s sister, Suzanne, expressed her disbelief and grief, stating that her brother was innocently trying to stop the altercation.

The community also came together to mourn the loss of Swan and Reha. A memorial was held outside of The Alleycat Patio and Lounge, where locals placed multiple photographs, lit candles, and heartfelt letters in remembrance of the victims.

During the court hearing, Judge Barbara McInvaille found probable cause to support the charges brought against Peterson. His bail has been set at $4 million, and the date for his next court appearance is currently unknown.
