Suspect in Over-The-Rhine Homicide Arrested
OVER-THE-RHINE, Ohio (WKRC) – Law enforcement authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with a tragic homicide that occurred in the Over-The-Rhine neighborhood.

Police responded to a distress call on Walnut Street, near E. Liberty, shortly after 9 p.m. on October 21, reporting a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate the victim at the crime scene. However, a 28-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound arrived at Christ Hospital soon after.
Tragically, despite the efforts of healthcare professionals who performed lifesaving measures, the victim, identified as Demarcus Duffy, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The perpetrator fled the scene, leaving the authorities to initiate an intensive investigation. On Monday, police arrested 23-year-old Devonte Banks on a murder warrant, marking a significant development in the case.
