Oakland Man Fatally Shot by Law Enforcement Officers in Sacramento Pursuit

The driver has been identified as 36-year-old Zachary Wolffscott from Oakland.
During the pursuit, a sheriff’s K9 deputy and another CHP officer joined the effort. It was during this time that Wolffscott allegedly collided with a motorcyclist near Greenback Lane on I-80, causing significant damage to his Toyota and rendering it inoperable.
