Accident – Death – Obituary News : Ogden, Utah (ABC4) – A tragic accident occurred in Ogden on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist after being struck by a truck, as reported by the Ogden Police.
The incident took place on November 6 at approximately 2:45 p.m. In this unfortunate event, a man was driving a truck in a southbound direction on the 2000 block of Lincoln Ave. He came to a complete stop at a stop sign located at the intersection of Lincoln Ave. and 21st St.

Simultaneously, a 64-year-old motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on the 100 block of 21st St., eventually entering the intersection of Lincoln Ave. and 21st St. Sadly, the driver of the truck failed to notice the motorcyclist and proceeded to enter the intersection, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
Due to the impact, the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. Unfortunately, the injuries sustained proved fatal, and the motorcyclist tragically succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.
Authorities have stated that there is no suspicion of impairment on behalf of the truck driver at this time. However, a thorough investigation into the incident is currently underway. The identity of the deceased motorcyclist has not yet been disclosed.
