Accident – death – Obituary News : Conservative commentator Steven Crowder has found himself at the center of controversy after he released portions of the alleged Nashville school shooter’s manifesto on his social media channels. The release of the manifesto has prompted the Uvalde Foundation For Kids, an organization created in response to a school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, to call for a boycott of Crowder’s show, “Louder with Crowder.”

The Metro Nashville Police Department had previously identified Audrey Hale, 28, as the shooter responsible for the tragic incident that claimed the lives of three children and three adults in March. Crowder shared screenshots of Hale’s alleged manifesto on X, formerly known as Twitter, in which she wrote about a “death day” and her plans to have a “high death count.”

“The Uvalde Foundation For Kids is frankly livid at the insensitivity of Crowder, who has prematurely and for his own self-centered interest and show ratings, released these documents,” the organization said in a press release on Monday. The Uvalde Foundation For Kids was established following the school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, in 2022, which resulted in the death of 19 children and two adults.

The organization is now calling for a formal boycott of Crowder’s show and urging him to consider the impact his actions have on the families affected by gun violence. “Crowder should be ashamed,” the organization stated on its website, urging him to confront the haunted families of Covenant and others who have lost loved ones due to gun violence.

Newsweek reached out to both Crowder and the Uvalde Foundation For Kids for comment. It remains to be seen how they will respond to the controversy surrounding the release of the alleged manifesto.

The Nashville shooting incident has been marked by several significant details. The shooter, who was killed by police, had opened fire at the private Christian school that Hale had once attended. The police had identified the shooter as transgender and had recovered a manifesto from Hale. However, the authenticity of the manifesto has not been officially confirmed, and the Metro Nashville Police Department is currently investigating the matter.

Crowder, when asked about the controversy, stood by his decision to release the alleged manifesto. He believes that his reporting is valid and has not wavered in his stance.

The FBI, on the other hand, declined to comment on the reported documents, stating that the matter is being addressed by the courts.

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids expressed concern over the trauma caused by Crowder’s actions, stating that the premature release of the alleged manifesto is unproductive and potentially destructive. The organization emphasized the need for sensitivity and understanding, particularly given the ongoing legal process, lawsuit deliberations, and the families’ calls for privacy.

As the controversy unfolds, it remains to be seen how Crowder, the Uvalde Foundation For Kids, and the wider public will respond to the release of the alleged manifesto. The impact on Crowder’s show and his reputation as a conservative commentator is yet to be determined..
