Accident – Death – Obituary News : BENSALEM, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — The authorities in Ohio have recently released dashcam footage capturing a high-speed police pursuit involving a person of interest in the Halloween shooting incident that tragically took the life of a 14-year-old boy in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The victim, Sean Hughes, 19, from Lower Makefield Township, Pa., was discovered on November 2 following a police chase in Marysville, Ohio.

The shooting incident, which occurred on October 31, resulted in the death of Snyder Middle School student Peter Romano. Two others, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old, were also injured in the gunfire. The stolen vehicle used in the shooting was traced back to Bristol Township, according to Bensalem police.

Last week, law enforcement officers in Ohio spotted the stolen car and attempted to pull Hughes over. However, the suspect initiated a high-speed chase, managing to escape from the vehicle at one point. Tragically, minutes later, police discovered Hughes’ lifeless body. It is believed that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

During the pursuit, another individual in the car, identified as Joshua Marquez, 25, attempted to flee on foot. However, police successfully apprehended him. Body camera footage captured officers commanding Marquez to show his hands while making the arrest. Marquez, a convicted felon, was found in possession of a firearm, which he discarded during the pursuit. However, law enforcement later located the discarded weapon. Marquez has been arrested on weapons charges, although it remains unclear if he had any involvement in the Bensalem shooting.

The Bensalem community has been left devastated by the tragic events that unfolded on Halloween night. Many residents are struggling to comprehend how such a senseless act of violence could occur.
