Tragic Crash in Sydney Claims Lives of Braydan Collier, 13, and Kaine Bell, 14

The victims have been identified as Braydan Collier, 13, and Kaine Bell, 14. The devastating incident occurred on Monday morning when the car they were traveling in crashed into a tree and a power pole outside a home on Maxwells Ave, Ashcroft.

According to reports, Braydan and Kaine were seated in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of the crash. The impact was so severe that one of the boys was thrown from the car, while the other remained held in by his seatbelt. It is believed that excessive speed played a significant role in the accident.

Heartfelt tributes have begun pouring in for the two teenagers on social media. One individual wrote, “So heartbreaking baby Kaine. Rest in peace baby boy.” A member of the Collier family expressed their love for Braydan, saying, “My nephew, I’ll always love you.”

CCTV footage captured the entire incident, including the moments following the crash. The footage shows two men, later identified as Nicholas Thew and Anthony Morris, fleeing the scene. It is believed that Thew and Morris are either family members or friends of the two boys.

In the footage, a dirt bike rider who had been traveling behind the car can be seen approaching the wreckage and looking down at one of the boys’ bodies. The rider then checks on the two men in the front of the vehicle before riding away. One of the men emerges from the wreck and walks over to the deceased boys. He unbuckles one of them from the seatbelt and then assists the second male out of the car before making their escape.

Assistant Commissioner Brett McFadden strongly condemned the actions of Thew and Morris, stating, “When you’ve caused that much carnage and you don’t stick around to take responsibility for it, it’s a weakness of character.” He assured that the police would find the two men and urged them to present themselves at a police station.
