As a result, three individuals, including the groom, lost their lives, while three others sustained severe injuries. The groom, identified as Sukhwinder Singh, was en route from Fazlika to Ludhiana for his wedding when tragedy struck. Alongside him, the two other victims were identified as the driver, Angrez Singh, and his four-year-old daughter. The mishap occurred in the early hours of the morning when heavy fog obscured the driver’s visibility, leading to the collision with the parked trolley. Unfortunately, both the groom and the child lost their lives on the spot, while the injured passengers, including the driver, were rushed to the hospital.

Promptly alerted about the incident, the police swiftly arrived at the scene and arranged for the injured individuals to be transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance services. Subsequently, they were referred to Faridkot for further medical treatment. Tragically, despite the medical team’s efforts, the driver succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment. The bodies of the deceased have been transferred to the morgue for post-mortem examinations. Currently, the police are conducting an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
