Security Officer Commits Suicide at Telangana Education Minister’s Residence in Hyderabad

Shocking Incident Unfolds in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana, was shaken by a tragic incident on Sunday morning. A security officer on duty at the residence of the Telangana Education Minister, P Sabitha Indra Reddy, took his own life, leaving the local community in a state of shock and disbelief.

Identity of the Deceased Officer

The deceased officer was identified as Mohammed Fazal Ali, a 49-year-old Reserved Sub-Inspector of Police. He served as the escort incharge for the esteemed minister. The incident occurred near a hotel located in Srinagar Colony, situated in the Ameerpet area of Hyderabad.

Tragic Turn of Events

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Joel Davis, Fazal Ali took his own life by shooting himself with his service pistol. The officer arrived for duty at approximately 6 a.m. accompanied by his daughter. It was around 7 a.m. when the officer, after having a conversation with his daughter regarding a personal matter, resorted to this extreme step.

Investigation Underway

The body of the deceased officer was immediately transported to Osmania General Hospital for further examination through an autopsy. Deputy Commissioner Davis stated that the initial investigation suggests that financial problems may have driven Fazal Ali to commit suicide. The local police have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation to uncover the exact circumstances leading to this tragic incident.
