Police Escort In-Charge of Telangana Education Minister Found Dead in Hyderabad

The police escort in-charge assigned to Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy was discovered dead in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills area, as reported by the Hyderabad City Police on Sunday. The deceased individual has been identified as 60-year-old Mohammed Fazal Ali.

According to the West Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Hyderabad City, D Joel Davis, initial investigations suggest that the cause of death might be suicide, likely stemming from financial and family issues faced by the deceased.

“The victim, who allegedly died by suicide, was responsible for the security of Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Fazal Ali, a 60-year-old individual. The incident occurred at approximately 7 a.m. Based on the available information, we suspect that financial and family problems might have led to this unfortunate event. The forensic team is currently at the scene,” explained DCP Davis.

The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are awaiting the results of the postmortem examination (PME), which is yet to be conducted. The case will be registered once the complaint has been filed with the authorities, added DCP Davis.
