Born in 1992, Langfuhr was a son of renowned Canadian sire Danzig and was bred by Gustav Schickedanz. From the very beginning, he showed immense promise, displaying a combination of intelligence and a kind temperament that endeared him to all who had the privilege of working with him.

Langfuhr’s racing career was nothing short of remarkable. Trained by Hall of Famer Hall of Famer Phil England, he won multiple graded stakes races, including the prestigious Grade 1 Vosburgh Stakes and the Grade 3 Westchester Handicap. His victories on the racetrack earned him the title of Champion Sprint Horse in Canada in 1996.

Beyond his on-track achievements, Langfuhr made a lasting impact as a sire. His progeny went on to achieve great success, with many of them becoming stakes winners themselves. His notable offspring include Lawyer Ron, Wando, and Mobil, all of whom left their mark on the racing world.
