Death – Obituary News : Farida Nakimbugwe, a former student of Green East house from class 1991-1994, has passed away on October 11, 2023. The Old Girls Association of Nabisunsa announced her death and stated that she will be buried on October 12, 2023, at 2:00pm in Katale off Entebbe road.

It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Farida Nakimbugwe, a beloved member of the Nabisunsa Old Girls Association (OGAN). Farida, a former student of the prestigious Nabisunsa Girls School from the class of 1991-1994, has left behind a remarkable legacy that will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and the entire Nabisunsa community.

Born on an auspicious day in 1976, Farida was a bright and ambitious young woman. With an unwavering determination to succeed, she pursued her studies diligently, excelling in both academics and extracurricular activities. Her time at Nabisunsa was marked by her unwavering commitment to her studies, as well as her enthusiastic participation in numerous sports and cultural events.
Farida’s passion for learning and her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue higher education at Makerere University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Armed with her newfound knowledge, Farida embarked on a successful career in the corporate world, where she quickly established herself as a respected and influential figure.
Throughout her life, Farida remained deeply connected to her alma mater, actively participating in various initiatives organized by the Nabisunsa Old Girls Association. Her commitment to uplifting her fellow alumni and contributing to the development of the school was unparalleled.
News of Farida’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the Nabisunsa community. Friends and former classmates remember her as a kind-hearted soul, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her infectious laughter and warm smile will forever be etched in the memories of those fortunate enough to have known her.
In honor of Farida’s memory, the Nabisunsa Old Girls Association will hold a solemn burial ceremony tomorrow, 12th October 2023, at 2:00 pm. The ceremony will take place at Katale, off Entebbe road, where her loved ones will gather to pay their final respects.
