Chicago Ridge, IL – The Chicago Ridge community is mourning the loss of Linda Louise Boyer, affectionately known by many as Lou, Auntie Lou, GAL, AL, LouLou, FeFe, Deb, and Coco. At the age of 63, Linda passed away on August 11, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a void in the hearts of those who knew her.

The news of Linda’s passing spread quickly across various social media platforms, as friends, family, and acquaintances paid tribute to her life. Linda, who considered Chicago Ridge her permanent residence, was a devoted aunt to Melissa (Henry) Timm and a treasured sister to Kathleen Hajer, Robert (Denise) Boyer, and Shannon (Robby) Cheek.

Linda’s memory will live on through the joyful moments she shared with her great nieces and nephews – Addison, Kasey, Declan, Natalie, Nora, Andrew, Teagan, Eleanor, Garrett, Gavin, Braelynn, Jackson, Easton, Adalyn, Kayden, Rogue, Everly, and Rory. Her impact extended beyond her immediate family, as she formed lifelong friendships with Laura (Steven) Seweryn, Michelle (Kevin) Bradley, Sandy Holec, and Pat (the late Dave) Gentzen.

To honor Linda’s legacy, friends and loved ones are encouraged to wear their most cherished T-shirt, symbolizing the importance of treasuring life’s precious moments. Additionally, a visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from three o’clock in the afternoon until nine o’clock in the evening at Curley Funeral Home located at 6116 W. 111th Street in Chicago Ridge.

The funeral service will commence at ten o’clock in the morning on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Curley Funeral Home, followed by a Mass at eleven o’clock in the morning at Our Lady of the Ridge Church, situated at 10811 Ridgeland Avenue in Chicago Ridge. The wake and burial were held privately for close family members and those directly affected by Linda’s passing.
